An invitation requires action from both parties: the inviter and the recipient. In this article, we'll describe the steps each party takes.
Step 1: Go to team settings
1. Log in to your Claspo account.
2. Open your dashboard.
3. Click on your Profile icon in the bottom left corner.
4. Select Users.
Step 2: Invite a new user
1. Click New User — a pop-up window will appear.
2. Choose the way you want to invite the user:
By email — send an invitation to the user’s email.
By link — generate a link you can share manually.
3. Enter the user’s email address in the Email field.
4. Select the appropriate Role.
5. Choose which Sites the invited user will have access to (or leave All).
6. (Optional) Enable Send email notification:
If enabled, the user will receive an email with an invitation.
They will need to click the button in the email to accept it.
After that, the shared project will appear in their account.
If disabled, no email will be sent.
The user can log in to their Claspo account and will immediately see the Shared tab with access to your project.
7. Click Invite user to send the invitation.
Important requirements
Please note that:
The invited user must already have a Claspo account. Please ensure that the user you invite has already created a Free Claspo account. You cannot invite a user who does not have a Claspo account.
Once they receive the invitation email, they need to click the button in that email.
After that, in their own Claspo account, they will see a Shared tab, where they’ll be able to access your project.
What happens next
The user will appear in your Users list.
The invitation remains pending until accepted.
After acceptance, the user gets access according to their role.
The project becomes available in the Shared tab in their account.
⚠️ This feature is not available for Shopify users.
If you are using Claspo via Shopify, you won’t be able to add team members using this method.
In addition
If you close the invitation window by clicking the X, the invitation will not be sent, and all entered data will be lost.
