Steps to integrate CleverReach account to export data from Claspo

In Claspo, you can integrate widgets with your CleverReach account to leverage the features of both apps.

Adding the CleverReach integration in Claspo

The following steps are required to integrate your CleverReach account with Claspo:

  1. Connecting the CleverReach account.

  2. Configuring the CleverReach integration settings for the widget.

Connecting the CleverReach account

You can connect the CleverReach account to Claspo when:

  • Creating a new widget, or

  • Adding the new integration to the existing widget.

To connect the CleverReach account to Claspo:

  1. When creating a new widget, click + Add integration on the Integrations step.

    Or,

    To add the integration to the existing widget, go to Widgets → select the widget → Integrations and click + Add integration.

  2. Select CleverReach from the list of apps.

  3. Select Log in with my existing CleverReach account and connect.

  4. Enter your CleverReach login details in the following fields, then click Log in now & connect Claspo!:
    - CustomerID
    - Username
    - Password


    NOTE
    - The CleverReach access permission does not expire and remains valid unless you revoke it.
    - If you experience authorization issues, click Reauthorize beside the CleverReach icon on the integration page and repeat the authorization process.


Configuring the CleverReach integration settings for the widget

The New CleverReach Integration window allows setting up the integration configuration as described below in the following subsections.

When configured, click Done at the bottom of the window.

Selecting the recipient list

Expand the Recipients list dropdown menu and select the list in CleverReach where you want to save the contacts collected using the widget.

Enabling Double opt-in

Double opt-in serves as an email marketing technique to validate subscriber sign-ups. Once users submit their email addresses, they receive a confirmation email with a clickable link to confirm their subscription. This process ensures the validity of provided email addresses and verifies subscribers’ genuine interest in receiving communications. By implementing double opt-in, businesses maintain a high-quality email list, reduce spam complaints, and enhance deliverability rates by engaging committed subscribers.

To create contacts using the double opt-in method:

  1. Enable the Double opt-in slide button.

  2. Expand the Form for Double Opt-in dropdown menu and select the CleverReach form you want to use for the double opt-in subscription.

Setting up Field mapping

The Field mapping section contains two types of fields:

  • Widget fields: Those are the contact fields you add when editing a Claspo template. For example, email, first name, last name, phone number.

  • System fields: Those are the fields depending on the site where a widget is displayed. For example, site language, browser, operating system, device.

To set up the field mapping:

  • Expand the dropdown lists in the CleverReach column and select the corresponding values.

  • Click Show more fields to display and set up all available fields.


NOTE

The Email field is required.


Setting up Static fields

To add static fields:

  1. Click + Add static field in the Static fields section.

  2. Enter the field value, and select the corresponding CleverReach field value from the dropdown list.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add more static fields.
