How to change the account email

You can change the account email by changing the account Owner. Only the current Owner can transfer ownership of the account. The Owner role is transferred by assigning it to another user.

Important

Shopify-connected accounts can have only one user β€” the Owner. If you need to change the Owner email for a Shopify account, please contact our support. Ownership cannot be transferred manually in this case.

How to transfer the Owner role

1. Click on your account name in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard.

2. Select Users from the account menu.

3. Click New user. You can invite a user by email or by invitation link.

4. Assign any role for now (for example, Admin).

5. Change the role to Owner: open the Role dropdown next to the invited user and select Owner.

6. Confirm the action in the dialog window. Ownership transfer is irreversible. Make sure you select the correct email before confirming. After confirmation:

  • the new user becomes the account Owner;

  • your role is automatically changed to Admin.

Ownership transfer is immediate and does not require support involvement for standard accounts.
