When collecting the email addresses of your leads using our widgets, people may subscribe using public domain email addresses.

You can restrict the acceptance of emails only to corporate email addresses to screen out the irrelevant audience. This will let you collect data of potential customers, who will be interested in your offer and have the capacity to buy your products.

To activate the option of not accepting public domain email addresses:

  1. In your Widget details menu, go to Appearance and select Edit.

  2. Add or select the Email component on your widget and select the General tab in the right-hand side menu.

  3. Enable Do not accept public email domains, like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail.

When a user attempts to submit an email address from a public domain, the error message will ask to enter a business email address.

For email address validation, the system uses the list of known public email domains that is updated periodically.
