Claspo allows you to send the collected data to third-party apps. You can add the GetResponse integration to new and existing Claspo forms.

Fetching your GetResponse API key

You will need your GetResponse API key for authentication.

To get the key:

  1. Go to your GetResponse account, click Tools, and select Integrations and API from the dropdown menu.

    GetResponse Integrations and API
  2. Select the API tab and click the Copy button to copy any of your existing keys or generate a new key by clicking Generate API key.

Adding GetResponse integration in Claspo

When creating a new form, the Integration step suggests adding a new integration. Proceed as follows:

  1. Click Add integration.

    Adding integration
  2. Select GetResponse from the list of the apps.

The New GetResponse integration pop-up opens.

  3. Paste your GetResponse API key in the API key field and click Save.

    Note:

    • The GetResponse access permission does not expire and remains valid unless you revoke it.

    • If you experience authorization issues, click Reauthorize beside the GetResponse icon on the integration page and repeat the authorization process.

    Warning!

Never share and/or expose your API keys to unauthorized persons.

  4. Select the mailing list from the List dropdown.

  5. Select the Field mapping fields from the dropdown lists.
Note: The Email field is required.

The Field mapping contains two types of fields:

    • Widget fields. Those are the contact fields you add when editing a Claspo template. For example, email, first name, last name, phone.

    • System fields. Those are the fields depending on the site where a widget is displayed. For example, site language, browser, operation system, device.

  6. Enter the static field values and select the corresponding field names in GetResponse from the dropdown list.
The static fields are the same for all the customers who subscribed using this widget.

  7. Add more static fields as required by clicking Add static fields, then click Done.

The GetResponse integration adds to your form.

Adding GetResponse integration to existing forms

To add the GetResponse integration to the existing forms in Claspo:

  1. On the Claspo dashboard, click Widgets on the left panel and select a Subscription form from the list.

  2. Select Integrations in the Widget Details menu and then follow all the steps described in the Adding GetResponse integration in Claspo section.

You can edit the GetResponse integration configuration at any time.

Your GetResponse account is now integrated with Claspo and the customer data from the widgets will be automatically transferred to the specified GetResponse list.

Settings opt-in parameters in GetResponse

By default, a single opt-in process applies to the new contacts in GetResponse.

To enable the double opt-in subscription option:

  1. Go to your GetResponse account, click Tools, and select Contacts from the dropdown menu.

  2. Click the Options () dropdown menu on the right side of your list and select Settings.

  3. On the List settings page, enable API subscriptions.

All the new contacts who sign up using the selected method receive a confirmation email. They need to click a confirmation link to confirm their permission to be on your list.
