Discounts can use one static code for every visitor or provide each visitor with a unique one-time code. Both options are available in the Promo Code component and as rewards in gamified widgets.

These Shopify discount code settings are available only in newly created widgets for users who installed the Claspo Shopify app. They cannot be added to existing widgets.
Choose between static and unique discount codes
When creating a new Shopify discount in Claspo, you can choose between two discount types:

In templates that include a Promo Code or game component, unique discount codes are selected by default. You can switch to a static code in the editor.
Codes generated by Claspo use the CLXXXXXXXX format: CL followed by eight uppercase letters or numbers.
Choose between percentage and fixed-amount discounts
Claspo can create new static and unique Amount off order discounts directly in the editor. Choose how the discount should apply to the entire order:

Shopify also supports other discount types, including Amount off products, Buy X get Y, and Free shipping. Claspo cannot create these discounts for now, but you can add their existing Shopify codes as static codes. These discount types are not available for unique codes.
How Claspo manages unique Shopify discount codes
When you create a new unique discount and save the widget, Claspo creates a discount group and its individual codes in Shopify. Claspo then replenishes the supply of codes automatically.
Deleting the widget does not delete its Shopify discount group or previously issued codes. You can continue managing them in Shopify.
If the connected group has been deleted, has expired or cannot provide a valid code, Claspo does not show the widget to visitors.
