Add the Promo Code component
1. Use a template that already contains the Promo Code component,
or add it from the panel on the left to another template or a widget you’re building from scratch.
2. Select the component in your widget.
3. Find Discount in the settings panel and click the pencil icon.
4. Choose Static or Unique under Discount type.
Configure the discount
Set up a static discount
For a static discount, you can use the code generated by Claspo or replace it with an existing Shopify code.
When creating a new static discount through Claspo, choose:
Percentage or Fixed amount;
the discount value;
an optional expiration date and time.
Fixed amounts use your Shopify store’s currency.
If you enter an existing Shopify code, Claspo finds the corresponding discount and loads its current details.
Set up unique discount codes
For unique discounts, Claspo generates the individual codes automatically, so you do not need to enter or select a code. Choose Percentage or Fixed amount, enter the discount value, and optionally set an expiration date and time.
Click Done to save the settings.
Apply the code automatically and track clicks
Turn on Apply promo code automatically to add the code to the visitor’s Shopify cart as soon as the widget is shown. The toggle works with both static and unique codes.
Turn on Count as a target action if clicking the promo code is the goal of your widget.
Each click will count as a completed target action in the widget results.
If you create a new discount, Claspo adds it to Shopify when you save the widget. You can then view and manage it in Shopify.
