Steps to integrate with the Newsletter2Go account to export data from Claspo

In Claspo you can integrate with your existing Newsletter2Go account to use the capabilities provided by both apps.

Adding the Newsletter2Go integration in Claspo

There are two main steps to integrate your Newsletter2Go account with Claspo:

  1. Connecting Claspo to the Newsletter2Go account.

  2. Configuring the Newsletter2Go integration settings for the widget.

Connecting the Newsletter2Go account

You can connect the Newsletter2Go account to Claspo when:

  • Creating a new widget, or

  • Adding the new integration for the existing widget.

To connect the Newsletter2Go account to Claspo:

  1. When creating a new widget, click + Add integration at the Integrations step.

    Or,

    When editing the existing widget, go to Widgets → select the widget → Integrations and click + Add integration.

  2. Select Newsletter2Go from the list of apps.

    The 'New Newsletter2Go integration' window opens.

  3. Enter the following Newsletter2Go credentials in the corresponding fields, then click Save:

  • Auth-key

  • Username

  • Password

Note:

  • The Newsletter2Go access permission does not expire and remains valid unless you revoke it.

  • If you experience authorization issues, click the pencil icon beside the Newsletter2Go icon on the integration page and repeat the authorization process.

Configuring the Newsletter2Go integration settings for the widget

The New Newsletter2Go Integration window allows setting up the integration configuration for the widget. Proceed with the instructions in the following subsections to configure the integration.

When configured, click Done at the bottom of the window.

Setting up the contact information export options

If you collect the contact information using the Claspo widget, you can export it to your Newsletter2Go contact list and segments.

To configure the contact information export options:

  1. Expand the dropdown list in the Contact list section and select the Newsletter2Go contact list.

  2. If you use segmentation in your Newsletter2Go account, enable the Segments button. Then expand the Groups dropdown menu, and select the checkbox beside one or more groups.

Setting up Field mapping

The Field mapping section contains two types of fields:

  • Widget fields: Those are the contact fields you add when editing a Claspo template. For example, email, first name, last name, phone number.

  • System fields: Those are the fields depending on the site where a widget is displayed. For example, site language, browser, operation system, device.

To set up the field mapping:

  • Expand the dropdown lists in the Newsletter2Go column and select the corresponding values.

  • Click Show more fields to display all the available fields.

Setting up Static fields

To set up static fields:

  1. Click + Add static field in the Static fields section.

  2. Enter the field value, and select the corresponding Newsletter2Go field value from the dropdown list.

  3. Click + Add static field, and repeat step 2 to add more static fields.
