How to integrate a widget with the Constant Contact account to export data from Claspo

In Claspo you can integrate widgets with your Constant Contact account and send the collected data of contacts.

Adding the Constant Contact integration in Claspo

The following steps are required to integrate your Constant Contact account with Claspo:

  1. Connecting the Constant Contact account.

  2. Configuring the Constant Contact integration settings for the widget.

Connecting the Constant Contact account

You can connect the Constant Contact account to Claspo when:

  • Creating a new widget, or

  • Adding the new integration for the existing widget.

To connect the Constant Contact account to Claspo:

  1. When creating a new widget, click + Add integration on the Integrations step.

    Or,
    When editing the existing widget, go to Widgets → select the widget → Integrations and click + Add integration.

  2. Select Constant Contact from the list of apps.

    The Constant Contact Sign In popup window opens.

  3. Enter your username and password in the corresponding field and click Sign In.
    You can select the other available sign-in methods:
    - Sign in with Google
    - Sign in with Facebook

  4. Select Allow Access to let Claspo connect with your Constant Contact account. Point to the corresponding interrogation mark icon to learn more about each access.


Note:

  • The Constant Contact access permission does not expire and remains valid unless you revoke it.

  • If you experience authorization issues, click the Reauthorize icon beside the Constant Contact icon in the New Constant Contact integration window and repeat the sign-in process.


Configuring the Constant Contact integration settings for a widget

When you sign in to your Constant Contact account, the New Constant Contact integration window opens in Claspo where you can configure the integration settings as follows:

  1. Expand the List dropdown menu and select the list in Constant Contact to transfer the contact’s data.

  2. In the Field mapping, Fields section, select Show more fields, expand the dropdown menus in the Constant Contact column and select the values corresponding to the widget field in the Field name column.


    NOTE
    The Email field is required.


    Field mapping contains two types of fields:

    - Widget fields: Those are the contact fields you add when editing a Claspo template. For example: email, first name, last name, phone.

    - System fields: Those are the fields depending on the site where a widget is displayed. For example: site language, browser, operating system, device.

  3. Enter the static field value in the Field value column, and select the corresponding field names in the Constant Contact column from the dropdown list.

  4. Click + Add static field in the Static fields section to add more static fields.

    The static fields are the same for all the customers who subscribed using this widget.
