When creating widgets in Claspo, you are prompted to add an integration with other apps. It allows exporting your data collected in Claspo to a third-party app.
In Claspo you can integrate with your existing Mailchimp account to enhance the capabilities provided by both apps.
When creating a new widget, the Integration step suggests adding a new integration. Proceed as follows:
Click Add Integration.
Select Mailchimp from the list of the apps.
You will be redirected to Mailchimp’s Login and Authorize page.
Enter your Username and Password and click Log in.
NOTE:
The Mailchimp access permission does not expire and remains valid unless you revoke it.
If you experience authorization issues, click Reauthorize to repeat the authorization process.
On the Mailchimp integration page, enable the Opt-in confirmation email toggle button to let a user confirm their subscription.
Select your audience from the dropdown list.
Expand the Groups dropdown list and enable the toggles to add the required groups.
If you've set up groups in Mailchimp, the group selection option will automatically appear in Claspo settings, letting you choose one. If not, create groups in Mailchimp by navigating to Audience > All contacts, then selecting Manage audience > Groups.
Next, click the Create group button and follow the system instructions:
After creating a group, return to Claspo, open the Mailchimp integration, and select your desired option.
Select the Field mapping fields from the dropdown lists.
NOTE:
The Email field is required.Add the static field names and the corresponding values from the dropdown list.
Add more static fields as required by clicking Add static fields.
Next, you can test the integration to make sure everything is working correctly. To get started, click on Test.
Your Mailchimp account is now integrated with Claspo. You can edit the Mailchimp configuration at any time.
